 Part of Long Beach Township and one of the northern communities on Long Beach Island (LBI), High Bar Harbor consists mostly of bay and lagoonfront homes and is bordered by Barnegat Bay and a spit of land in Barnegat Light. High Bar Harbor has long been considered a boating and fishing paradise providing easy access to Barnegat Inlet an the Atlantic ocean.
